Zero tolerance policy
Youth sports are a great opportunity for a child to build self-esteem and learn fundamentals skills. It’s also an opportunity for adults to become positive role models and to teach the value and importance of good sportsmanship. Our priority is development, not winning. Our program's philosophy is long term player development.
Because of the physical and verbal abuse taking place at youth sporting events across the country, Blueprint Basketball have chosen to adopt a Zero Tolerance Policy towards abusive behavior. This policy applies to all coaches, players, parents and other supporters effective immediately. Drinking alcohol, smoking, or use of illegal substances is prohibited during Blueprint practices, games, or events. Abusive and obscene language, violent play, violent conduct, fighting, and other behavior detrimental to the program (including but not limited to sarcasm, taunting, etc.) will not be tolerated.
It is the responsibility of ALL coaches, players, parents, relatives, siblings, and other spectators to maintain the highest standards of conduct for their behavior.
Any violation of this policy is considered detrimental to the program and will result in disciplinary action, including a suspension or permanent ban from participating in Blueprint Basketball programs. The policy applies equally to players, coaches, parents, and spectators, both on and off the court, at any Blueprint event or gathering.
